MP Navigator EX is a companion application for the following Canon products: the Canon E500 and the MG 2100/3100/4100/5300/6200/8200 series. The utility enables you to communicate with these Canon printers and allows you to quickly scan, save, and send for printing images or text documents.
Easy to install software solution for dealing with certain Canon printer models
The MP Navigator EX software archive comes with its own installer package, which means that the installation procedure is reduced to simply following the on-screen instructions. To actually launch the utility, simply navigate to the Applications directory, open the Canon folder, and select the appropriate entry.
Note that MP Navigator EX automatically detects if any of the supported devices are connected to your Mac via USB: if it cannot find an active Cannon printer, you will not be able to access the apps interface.
Furthermore, for everything to run smoothly, you must check if the device’s driver is properly installed, if the printer is connected to a power source, and if the USB cable is correctly attached to your Mac.
