I still use a Nikon CoolScan 4000 scanner. Nikon's software, of course, is no longer supported by the latest Mac OS. I now use Vuescan by Hamrick Software to run my scanner.   2. Run a VM manager, like Parallels or VMware, to create and use a VM of High Sierra, when you want to use this scanner.
